Hey guys. I just wanted to ask a rather important question. Should Supernanny make a return to our TV screens?Read more >
'She has teachers who are the real ones who do the work. She sits behind a desk. Until you have dealt with the sick and the mess of children, it is very hard to advise anyone else. I have been a nanny since I was 14. I’ve been in the trenches. What qualifies her to offer advice?’
I am simply shocked by Jo Frost's comments about Deborah Tillman. Jo is basically saying that Deborah didn't have the credentials for the role of being a "Supernanny". I think it's really sad that Jo had to say those things about Deborah. She could've been a little sincere about Deborah stepping into the role of "America's Supernanny".Read more >
Deborah Tillman aka America's Supernanny. I think it's great that she has a chain of child care centers and has made a great career for herself. However, there is one flaw that I've noticed when she uses the Calm Down Corner. Instead of letting the parent walk away to think about what they've done, she keeps telling the parent to say to their child "You are in the Calm Down Corner for not using your listening ears." REPEATEDLY!
However, she has the same no-nonsense approach as her counterpart Jo Frost (it's a shame that they don't like each other, otherwise they would've made a great team) and is quite good when it comes to teaching parents how to set rules and boundaries for their children. Keep up the good work, Deborah.Read more >
