Hazel: Mummy, please dress up.
Lexi: Why?
Hazel: i Want you to become a queen and Daddy will be the King and I shall be a Princess
Lexi: That's a good idea!

[Hazel is dressed up as Ariel]
[Logan is dressed up as Donald Duck]
[Colin is dressed up as a tiger]
[Lexi is dressed up as french doll]
[Daniel is dressed up as pirate]
Colin: Wait, one more thing before we leave...(he trudges to his room and fetches a big frozen white rabbit for his pet boa constrictor, Medusa)
(He slightly opens the lid to Medusa's tank)
Colin: (singsongly) Oh, Medusa....I have a Halloween treat for you...
{Medusa shifts her head to his attention, flickering her forked tongue}
Daniel: (holding Hazel, who trembled fear at the sight of the large snake, in his arms) Just be careful, son...when you're feeding her...the last thing we need tonight is a trip to the doctor when somebody got bitten by his own pet snake
[Colin carefully and successfully feeds Medusa, and he watches as she greedily consumes her meal]
[Hazel buries her face in her daddy's chest, frightened]
Hazel: (whispering) Daddy, I don't wanna go in the boys' room. That big scary snake lives in there.
Colin: Did you enjoy your nice, tasty Halloween treat, Medusa? (Turns to his dad) Okay. Let's go.
