In this episode, Jo heads to Springfield, Virginia to help Allison Hopewell (34), a mother of three adopted children who's husband Mark is currently in Iraq. Her first two adopted children Sunshine (6) and Jasper (5) are siblings from Malaysia, while Ava (2) is from Germany. Sunshine is very clingy towards Allison and cries when things don't go her way. Jasper is well-behaved and Ava refuses to eat her dinner, which puts her health at a serious risk since she has Type 1 Diabetes. All three kids don't understand English very much. Will Jo be able to help this family.
