Narrator: The Devons family, a family in Dublin, Ireland, consisting of mum Angelina and dad Tom. They have five children - 13-year-old Mia, 10-year-old John, 8-year-old Zoe, 2-year-old Daryl, and 7-months-old Marie Lillie. Angelina also has a younger sister, Mika.

Angelina: "We have 5 children, Mia is 13, John is 10, Zoe is 8, Daryl is 2, and baby Marie-Lillie is 7 months old."
Tom: "We have very bad issues, John and Zoe do not listen to us and constantly fight over, Mika is with us and my mother-in-law and father-in-law are in the US for their anniversary, her 3 brothers, aged 18, 21 and 31 are in the Gaedhealtacht, which is a number of areas where Irish is the first language."
Angelina: "If they get too loud, Mika goes up to them and smacks them on the wrist, since John and Zoe don't understand Irish Gaelic and Mika's English is quite poor, they are lots of language barriers between them."
